Bio
Handiedan (Dutch, b. 1981) creates intricate hand-cut paper collages that fuse classic pin-up imagery with antique material such as old currencies, stamps, sheet music and playing cards, set within collected antique ornamental frames. She lives and works in Amsterdam, where she trained as a photographic designer. She turned to collage full time in 2007, working as a self-taught artist.
