The Queue asked 151 people to queue up and wait their turn to mint, with each token generated from the queue itself at the block when it was minted and stamping the holder's ENS name or address onto the piece. Pricing followed a Berg auction, rising and then falling across the three-day queueing period, and the project was dedicated to the artist Vera Molnár.Fingerprints DAO's Fingerprints Studio described it as “an experiment and exercise in patience” in which participants became integral parts of an evolving artwork rather than mere observers.Earlier essays by Miragenesi include “Snake in a Block — How I Ran Snake on Ethereum”, published in 2021, and “Chaos in Big NFT Collections”, a 2022 piece on strategies and algorithms for unpredictable minting.
