Bio
mikegee is a designer and coder who describes himself as a generative art collector and artist. He began collecting NFTs in late 2020, while stepping away from a startup he had co-founded. He discovered Art Blocks in May 2021, the platform on which he says his interest in generative art began. mikegee has curated his collection around personal taste rather than market popularity, aiming to spotlight lesser-known artists.
In 2024, mikegee was one of twenty collaborators who each created a color palette for minimizer's generative art collection Scribble Together, for which the algorithm was written before any palette was chosen. The collection was released on the platform Plottables.io.
