Miguelgarest is a multimedia digital artist who creates animated NFT characters and collections of retro, imaginary objects. In September 2021, he launched CryptoCosplay, an animated collection following a character named Crypto through costumes drawn from pop culture, anime and memes in an infinitely repeating loop. His Items collection gathers imagined robots, instruments, and vintage electronics as individual NFTs.
Miguelgarest has also worked collaboratively, joining Rizzle and Sebi on OnChainChain, a generative collection released through Art Blocks. In 2021, he contributed to Stampu, a multi-edition NFT project made with artists including DeeKay Kwon and SlimeSunday. Stampu let collectors send NFTs, ETH, and personal messages to each other as digital postcards. Miguelgarest also illustrated Farcaster Pro OG NFT, a commemorative badge airdropped to the first 10,000 subscribers of Farcaster's Pro membership tier.
