Bio
mekhno, also known as Marc L Clapers, is a generative artist who treats code as an artistic medium for creating work in space and time. The practice is minimalist and abstract, carrying a strong symbolic and conceptual component, and mekhno uses pen plotters to bring pieces created on screen into the physical world.
At “MAGBa: Mostra d'Art Generatiu de Barcelona” in 2024, mekhno was one of nine artists presenting a recent work representative of their practice through algorithms and code. At the NFT Show Europe event in Valencia, mekhno demonstrated a live minting setup combining an iPad with a mini printer for the project a reveure!.
