Mazin is a multimedia glitch artist known for combining video game ROM corruption, databending and generative AI techniques into surreal, story-driven digital worlds. Also known online as endlessmazin, virtualmazin, datamonger and m4shinGAN, he has worked with glitch art for about ten years, treating imperfection and technical error as a gateway to new imagery rather than a flaw.
He began by hex-editing and corrupting video game ROM files to produce distorted glitch textures, a technique also documented among Tezos-based pixel and ROM corruption artists. His ongoing series Phantasmagoria builds a fictional universe of living, sentient architecture where angelic figures called C.L.E.A.N.S.E treat color itself as corruption, opposed by rival figures known as Corruptors. The series draws on the work of H.R. Giger and the films of Alex Proyas, pairing large surreal landscapes with intricate pixelated detail.Mazin describes himself within this world as a “realm photojournalist”, releasing new 1/1 works such as Ruinscape Isometrica in January 2025 and expanding the series to eight pieces on Verse by March 2025.
In June 2026 the series Morphland Abstractions was exhibited on Fellowship's Daily platform, a set of psychedelic glitchscapes built through custom AI workflows and pushed further with glitch-based and generative dithering processes. His work has also appeared in group exhibitions such as “Visual Detachment”, presented by SOLOS on Verse in March 2025.
