Max Drekker is a UK-based illustrator and motion designer working in optical art and geometric abstraction. His work is built from crystalline textures, kaleidoscopic light refractions and bold color gradients that create hypnotic, near three-dimensional illusions. Working across 2D and 3D software, he blends transparency, refraction and glowing accents into sci-fi-inspired visuals that challenge perception.
His series Fusion, Luminescence, Polarity, Refractions and Frictions continue this optical style. He also produces motion graphics and animation using Apple Motion. For musicians and record labels he has made album covers, tour posters and live show visuals. His clients have included the tech companies Amazon and Google, as well as editorial outlets such as Harvard Business Review. His work has also been released as tokenized editions, including Racer, on the Tezos-based platform MILK.
