matau is a digital artist described on SuperRare as a “Digital Artist & Cultural Remixer”, working across the Tezos and Ethereum blockchains.^, matau has also curated exhibitions of other artists' work, including a selection shown at “RGB MTL” in Montreal in 2024 and the following year's edition of the same event.^,

RGB MTL is a Montreal-based collective and non-profit celebrating digital art on the Tezos blockchain, where each year a group of curators selects a global lineup of artists whose work is shown as one-minute multi-channel installations across projections, CRTs and LED panels. matau's own work has also been shown in “REFLECTING SKIN”, a 2025 online exhibition for the zardoz.club collection curated by Tales Tommasini. The show explored the digitization of the human body through cameras, 3D modeling, data corruption, generative code and AI.
