Master Tingus is a 2D artist and animator working in absurdist and surreal hand-drawn animation, animating short frame-by-frame loops in which geese, cows and generic human and animal characters perform absurdist actions or transform beyond reason. His animations have become viral sensations on social media and gained notoriety online. As the artist puts it: “I make strange animations. 100% tingus.”
His shorts typically follow an ordinary animal or person through a mundane cycle, such as the food it eats or the eggs it lays, before the motion turns strange and unexpected. Widely shared 2022 examples include a TikTok video titled Water cycle that drew more than ten million likes, and another titled Stomach ache.
Master Tingus has extended the practice beyond video into a goose-themed mobile game, stickers on the LINE messaging app and merchandise sold through his own site. In 2025 he was featured at “Pictoplasma Berlin”.
