Markus Wirthmann is an artist who constructs his works with ephemeral and amorphous materials. Water, sand, light, air and sometimes digital means are arranged into technical experiments that aesthetically frame scientific processes. He exhibits his work internationally, most recently at Kunsthalle Bratislava, Oktogon Dresden and Amherst College, USA.
