Mark Walhimer

Bio

Mark Walhimer (b. 1964) is a digital installation artist who uses code and real-time generative systems to explore acceptance, control, and agency. Working in p5.js, WebGL, and GLSL shaders, he creates browser-based works that run live and change with every viewing. He is also a museum planning consultant and the author of two books on museum design published by Bloomsbury.

He met the installation artist Judy Pfaff as a studio art undergraduate at Skidmore College in 1985 and went on to work in her studio.
