My name is Marc, and I am a multi-disciplined artist. While my background was initially in painting, my preference is to work with photographic images. I enjoy the immediacy and mobility of digital photography. As an artist, the ability "to see" remains paramount to my process. The camera gives me the ability to capture what I see at that particular moment of time, place, and light. Later I can apply my interpretations and changes through the editorial post process. Having both knowledge and experience in many disciplines, i.e., drawing, painting, film, and photography, allows me to experiment and combine techniques. This is evident in many of my collage work. Little Friends is a multi layered collage done for the NFT TIPS MIAMI event and is an example of mixing multiple editing programs with layered 2D elements.
