Manfredi Caracciolo

Bio

Manfredi Caracciolo (Italian, b. 1986), known as Fredi, is a digital artist who places solitary figures inside vast, shadowy architectural spaces built from bold geometric shapes and cinematic lighting. The environments draw on early avant-garde architecture and are usually rendered in greyscale, creating a sense of introspection around each figure. He holds a degree in classical guitar and has also worked professionally as an illustrator.

His piece Burnout depicts a monochromatic evening scene of a figure on fire, expelling smoke from its head. His art has been exhibited in New York, Miami, Paris, Milan and Liverpool. In February 2025, Sotheby's auctioned his piece mixed feelings in a Digital Art Day sale.

In December 2025 he contributed a one-of-one artwork to “Advent Collaboration”, a 24-day digital advent calendar conceived by the artist Jenni Pasanen and hosted through Transient Labs.
