LOVEBEING, the alias of Gianni Arone, is a digital artist known for hand-made, character-based artwork. His debut project, LOVEBEING OG's, introduced a character whose head draws on Ray Johnson, whose shirt is based on Pablo Picasso's striped shirt, and whose shorts and shoes reference Mickey Mouse and Air Jordan sneakers.
In 2021 LOVEBEING won a Best Category Award, worth $5,000, in an APENFT Foundation competition inviting digital artists to portray dream lives and futures under the theme “Second Life” in the metaverse. The award was one of thirteen given out from more than 500 submissions worldwide, judged by TRON founder Justin Sun and APENFT art director Sydney Xiong.In December 2024 LOVEBEING created the cover art for SOLOPISM, a song by musician Rare Scrilla co-written with ChatGPT and stitched together from AI-generated audio.
