Khwampa is an Indian multidisciplinary artist based in the Himalayas whose practice explores abstract and mathematical forms, including mandalas, across physical and digital media.,His maximalist, psychedelic compositions layer cultural motifs, accumulated textures, and accidental mark-making, built up from an original style of simple black-and-white line drawings.,
He began his practice in 2018, when a background in Mechanical Engineering and technical engineering drawing reignited an interest in visual expression that led him into art.,Khwampa has said that “the genesis of the work is in the mind and it came into existence from the struggle against the mind”, and that “what you see in the images is what your conscience and consciousness is made of”.His practice has expanded from ink, watercolor and found-object work into generative and digital painting, sculpture, collage, mixed media, and data as material.
In December 2025 he was one of 25 guest artists in Advent Collaboration, a 24-day digital advent calendar led by the artist Jenni Pasanen that released a one-of-one artwork each day of December, minted via Transient Labs.In August 2026 he took part in “Still Wet”, a group exhibition at Galerie Met in Berlin.
