Kelly McDermott

Kelly McDermott (b. 1989) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work reimagines modern life through the lens of Americana. Her paintings weave together cultural critique, irony and the enduring appeal of mid-century iconography. They explore the evolving narratives of the American Dream, blending Western motifs, roadside imagery and bold typography. McDermott is based in Edinburgh or Phoenix.¹

McDermott's work has been shown at “NFT NYC” in 2021 and 2025, and at “NFT Liverpool” in 2022. In 2023 she exhibited with Ninfa Labs in Milan and Ibiza and with the “Western Art Department”, a collaboration that continued into 2024.¹
