Bio

JrCasas is an illustrator and visual artist based in Spain, working across illustration, physical art, and fully on-chain generative collections.^, The work builds a retrofuturistic universe at the intersection of the organic, the mechanical, and the absurd, transforming everyday elements into artifacts of improbable, meticulously detailed engineering.^, This fascination with hybrid, absurd machinery traces back to childhood and a father who turned everyday objects into absurd but functional DIY electronics.

After completing a Fine Arts degree, the artist worked professionally in illustration and design before returning, in 2021, to a more personal and experimental practice spanning both digital and physical work. Wheelbits, fully on-chain ASCII cars randomly generated at mint, was released with each final image stored as an SVG on the Ethereum mainnet.^, Other on-chain series include Retratos, a generative tribute to childhood, Planarics, digital organisms inspired by planarian flatworms, and cARTifacts, extraordinary retrofuturistic vehicles built from unusual mechanisms.^, Under the alter ego Dr Blazz, the artist also produces Blazz Lab, a series of on-chain experiments generated at mint.
