Bio
Jonathan Wolfe is a multidisciplinary artist based in Calgary, Alberta, working primarily in acrylic paint. His paintings invite viewers to notice everyday scenes and objects, such as telephone poles and grocery store aisles, capturing their essence with a sense of brightness and play.
His work has been exhibited internationally, including in Montreal, New York City, Los Angeles, and Shanghai, and he has collaborated with brands including Nike and designed for musicians including Benee and Car Seat Headrest. Mural painting has become a recent focus of his practice, extending his work into public spaces at a larger scale.
