Jonathan Quintin, known as mbsjq, is an English digital artist and designer. He is known for colourful 3D work that centres on rounded forms and fluids that change shape. In the early 2000s he founded the design studio MBSJQ, short for Made By Studio Jonathan Quintin. His first NFT drop, Astro and the Universe, appeared on Nifty Gateway in October 2020 and introduced his recurring character Astro.
The studio has worked with brands including Intel, Uber and Google. His palette often combines pastels with fluorescent colours set against darker backgrounds, as in Childhood Memory, a 1/1 edition on SuperRare. Info Overload was one of the three works in his first drop. His work has also been offered on MakersPlace and Foundation.
In 2021 Quintin contributed Tomorrow to “Transformations”, an exhibition of NFTs at Unit London, with the works offered for sale through Institut.
