John Thurman is a painter and digital artist who makes digital glitchpaintings, combining a glitch aesthetic with traditional painting. He glitches and further manipulates works based on AI-generated imagery or his own digital paintings. His work has been made available on Ethereum and Solana.
His work has appeared in the group exhibition “BANGARANG - Week 2” at Verse. He was also among 35 featured artists in “Protocol Decay: Marfa 2025”, held in a church venue in Marfa, Texas, on October 18, 2025, during Artblocks Weekend 2025.
