jivinci is a cryptoartist who creates digital compositions examining the fragility of political, social, financial, and technological systems, using manual image construction alongside a computationally measured entropy score. In 2019, jivinci began working as a cryptoartist in response to an already centralized art and media landscape, drawn to cryptoart's framework of decentralization and direct authorship.
jivinci's project Structural Failure comprises 200 editions that treat each image as a constructed system of interdependent elements whose stability varies across the surface. Source photographs from historical and contemporary events are fragmented, compressed, and reassembled into clusters of discrete visual units, with faces dissolving into planes and crowds condensing into dense formations. Each piece is assigned a computationally derived entropy score along a ten-stage spectrum running from Contained to Total Collapse, positioning it within a broader field of structural stability and instability across the full collection. The collection was released on Ethereum as an edition of 200 pieces, beginning to mint in February 2026.
In 2020, jivinci collaborated with the artist Timothy Lie on Judgment Day, an artwork responding to the political and economic situation in Suriname, visualizing the country's crisis “to its extreme condition if the rulers won't change their behavior towards the folks”.In 2022, jivinci's work was shown on the Times Square billboards as part of the group exhibition “NFT, Contemporary and Digital Art”, alongside artists including XCOPY and Trevor Jones.
