J'erre, also known as Javier Errecarte, is an Argentinean visual artist, digital designer and actor. Interested in human behaviour, his work focuses mainly on social commentary through analogies and satire. In his digital illustrations and animations, J'erre infuses each stroke with a distinct human touch. From bold pencil and pastel strokes to thick oil brushstrokes, his style evokes a sense of familiarity with the tangible world in intangible artworks. This becomes even more evident through the exploration of humanist themes, prompting viewers to look at their own roles in the world around them. He has also made several short films in Spanish as a screenwriter, director, producer and actor. In them he also deals with psychological issues and human conflicts. 2017 marking the beginning of his journey into the cryptoart space. His early NFTs are part of the 2017 collection 'Creeps and Weirdos', while his series of animations called 'New Normality' has garnered significant attention from both the cryptoart scene and creative media, particularly during the pandemic.
