Jeres, the working name of Jeremy Schoenherr, is a generative artist based in Los Angeles who codes his pieces in p5.js and custom shaders, layering noise, static and glitch to depict erosion, memory and emotional volatility.,,In 2024 he articulated this approach as Pandigitalism, an embrace of the digital medium that does not reject analog traditions, exploring the tension between technology and humanity as the two become fused.
His early generative works, including sinuosity in 2021 and Coronado, Vers and Attachment in 2022, laid the groundwork for Torrent, released on Art Blocks Curated in September 2023.,Built with p5.js and a shader, Torrent takes residual evidence of floods and thrown paint as a way of processing trauma and the imperfection of memory.
In February 2024 he released Heuristics of Emotion through Verse, curated together with Ivan Zhyzhkevych, an algorithm exploring how machines might learn to feel, split between artist-curated and collector-curated mints.That March, Panic Blooms for Highlight's Spring Collections reframed the season's imagery of rebirth as a reminder of mortality, while Repetition and Noise, shortlisted that fall in the Finnish National Gallery's Combine24 competition, built new work from the gallery's public-domain CC0 collection.,That same year his work was included in “Algorithmic Generations: A Genealogical Journey Through Generative Art”, a group show curated by Le Random at the Art Blocks Gallery in Marfa, Texas, alongside Casey Reas, Vera Molnár and Herbert Franke.
In September 2025 Heft Gallery in New York presented Material Certainty and Material Violence, two collections documenting successive stages of a single evolving algorithm, moving from a naive equilibrium of blended color into fractured, chaotic composition.That November, again at Heft Gallery and at Loop Barcelona, he presented Wanderer, made with Ashley Zelinskie, which translates spectroscopic data on ten exoplanets collected by the James Webb Space Telescope into color and motion, developed in coordination with scientists at NASA Goddard and the Space Telescope Science Institute.
