Javier Gracia Carpio is a developer who created Dead Man's Switch, a decentralized will smart contract for the Tezos blockchain, published within the Teia community's open-source smart contracts. First reported in December 2022, the contract lets a wallet owner set a ping interval and, if they stop checking in within that period, automatically releases their tez and NFTs to heirs who hold their own Tezos wallets.¹
