Jared Tarbell is a developer, artist and programmer based in the United States who has worked with code for over 30 years. With a degree in Computer Science from the University of New Mexico, Tarbell's passion for computation has continued to grow as processing power has increased over the years. Since 2003, Tarbell's abstract work in Processing has earned him critical acclaim. In 2005, Tarbell co-founded Etsy, a platform he originally designed as a means to sell his digital art. He took part in the iconic Kate Vass Galerie exhibition Automat und Mensch alongside some of the most significant generative artists.
