Jacek Kloskowski (Polish, b. 1984) is a self-taught photographer based in Warsaw, working primarily in documentary and portraiture.,Also active as a screenwriter and film editor, he has spent two decades in photography, drawing on influences including Robert Bresson, Éric Rohmer and Paul Thomas Anderson.,
His analogue photographs avoid staging: he does not intervene in constructing the scene, adjust artificial lighting, or make any post-production changes to the final images, producing results that one profile called spontaneous, sensual and touching. This body of work, exploring what one profile called the female universe, has appeared in magazines including Playboy, C-Heads Magazine, TATTOOFEST Magazine and Resuer Magazine.
In March 2022 Kloskowski's sister died following surgery for a brain tumour, before her 40th birthday. Attempting to process the grief, he began a photography project that grew into a meditation on his childhood by the Bay of Gdańsk, tracing how the neighbourhood's ice rinks, sandpits and ball courts have disappeared amid urban redevelopment and climate change.Titled Circular Motion on the artist's own site, the project was exhibited as “Ruch kolisty” at Dom Zdrojowy in Gdańsk in 2025.,
