ileogivel, the name used by Leonardo Faganello, is a Brazilian artist who explores personal narratives of self-discovery, trauma and childhood memories through symbols drawn from language and color. Color functions in his work as an emotional outcry, part of a practice rooted in sensory experimentation and a search for the mysterious and elusive.
His work ENDLESS appeared in “Tales of Seasons”, a 2024 SuperRare group show of seventeen artists curated by AnLoremi that opened in New York. In 2024 he contributed ALVORADA to Des/Conectados, a collection AOTM organized in solidarity with Brazilian digital artists after Brazil restricted legal access to X. Its description reads: “A free dove releases its thorns for protection and carries its greatest desires in its chest”.
