HAL09999 creates digital artworks with code and custom algorithms, exploring aesthetic spaces shaped by curiosity, technology, and chaos. The artist teaches computer science, electronics, physics, and digital art, and has worked as a scientific and technical advisor for other contemporary artists and international galleries. Based in France, dividing time between Paris and the coast, HAL09999 has shown work in New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Zurich, and Valencia.
In 2023, HAL09999 presented A broken symmetry — the cat's parabola, a series of 128 works, as part of “Truth”, a Feral File group exhibition curated by Adam Berninger. The exhibition invited seven generative artists to explore abstraction and scale in their work. In December 2025, HAL09999 took part in the second part of “New Retinas” at ARTLAB Siroco in Madrid.
