HAL09999 creates digital artworks with code and custom algorithms, exploring aesthetic spaces shaped by curiosity, technology, and chaos. The artist teaches computer science, electronics, physics, and digital art, and has worked as a scientific and technical advisor for other contemporary artists and international galleries. In 2023, HAL09999 presented A broken symmetry — the cat's parabola, a series of 128 works, as part of “Truth”, a Feral File group exhibition curated by Adam Berninger.,The exhibition invited seven generative artists to explore abstraction and scale in their work.In December 2025, HAL09999 took part in the second part of “New Retinas” at ARTLAB Siroco in Madrid.
In 2025, he released Field Transformations on Art Blocks Studio, a real-time simulation of interfering wave patterns paired with a live binaural audio composition, commissioned for the Responsive Dreams Barcelona Digital Arts Festival.,In 2025, he also produced u-WWWaves, a generative work released as Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions in which Unicode glyphs form color waves synchronized to real-time Bitcoin block data, with around 9,000 editions minted.In 2026, he began Pixel Clocks, in which each pixel of a screen represents one second, forming a perpetual 24-day cycle synchronized to Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions. The series includes One minute over 34560 and The Continuum Hypothesis, works that visualize the boundary between past and future pixels as time progresses.
