Gül Yıldız is a Turkish photographer who works across three recurring bodies of work: geometric and minimalist portraiture, street and portrait photography, and landscape.,She has described photography as a way of life that lets her express her connection to nature, history, different cultures, and to humanity.,
Yıldız was born in Uşak, Turkey, and studied engineering at Ankara University before going on to earn degrees in photography, cinematography and radio-and-TV programming at Anadolu University and pursuing graduate study in cinema at Marmara University. In 2015 the International Federation of Photographic Art awarded her its AFIAP distinction, and in 2017 she became one of Fujifilm Global's official X-Photographers. As a Fujifilm instructor she gives private and corporate photography training, and continues to run workshops and provide project consultation as the founder of the Artrospektif Photography Atelier.,
She has also released digital editions as NFTs on platforms including SuperRare, Transient Labs, Ninfa and 6529.Her card Within Reach is card 382 in The Memes by 6529, minted July 18, 2025 in an edition of 310. She described the work as part of “a decentralized future powered by natively Network Art”, its bird motif symbolizing freedom and peace, and wrote that “art no longer belongs to houses, museums, galleries, but to the whole world.”
