Bio
Graphica, also known as graphica.png, is an artist working at the intersection of hand-drawn illustration, AI-assisted collage, and glitch. Their work reimagines old JPEGs, dated advertisements, and internet ephemera in a style they describe as neo digital impressionism touched with minimal glitch.
Graphica's practice grew out of self-learning and exposure to various art schools, and a connection with a fellow artist drew them into web3. In their own words, “I offer punchlines without accompanying jokes, a metamorphosis of banal daily existence and overanalyzing thoughts into evocative imagery.” Their subject matter draws on personal experience, dreams, and the contents of old image folders, which they describe as “Pandora's Box of JPEGs”.
