Bio
Godwits is a digital artist who combines painting with artificial intelligence and machine learning tools. In September 2023 the artist released Back To The Future: A Graphic Design Story, a collection of 99 one-of-one pieces drawing on the colors and shapes of 1990s graphic design, on the platform Foundation.
The collection traces the artist's development from early digital work to a nostalgia for 1990s visual culture, with machine learning adding motion as each piece nears completion. In June 2024 Godwits collaborated with the artist Star Im on AI Paintings: Stories of the Infinite Universe, a collection released on OpenSea in which each painting depicts an untold story of the universe.
