While directing in the Design department at Televisa, he made a short animated film narrated by José Gordón about the discoveries of Oliver Sacks, produced for Fundación Televisa and Canal 22 as part of the Imaginantes series.^2,3 In 2024, he was invited by Karla Gutierrez to animate the character of young Frida for an Amazon Video production, based on a Frida Kahlo painting.⁴ He also worked on animation and rendering for a Michelob advertisement titled Ventilador, produced by Hola Combo!.⁵ His independent short film Animal, made for the 2013 Ecofilm Festival with illustrations by Luis Safa, won third place, and his animated series pitch Desanimados was named a finalist at Ideatoon.^1,6
