Gen_e1799 is the artist name of Marco Mazzitelli, who began exhibiting in Milan in 2017 and later moved into minting his work as NFTs.In 2023 he was invited to exhibit with Art Innovation Gallery, and his work has since appeared in the gallery's Discovery Section at two Times Square billboard exhibitions in New York.,,
His first exhibition, “Gene e Nasa Tech”, was held in 2017 at the LGBT cultural center Metro in Milan. After studying cryptocurrency and NFT technology and minting his own work, he was contacted in 2023 by Art Innovation Gallery, which invited him to exhibit at industry events.
His work appeared in the Discovery Section of Art Innovation Gallery's “The Pixels Show”, a billboard exhibition in New York's Times Square in April 2024, and again in the gallery's “Light Visions” billboard exhibition there that September.,He has also exhibited in collaboration with the platforms The Hug, ArtBoxy and Effetto Arte.
Works shown with Art Innovation Gallery have included Attacco di panico, presented at Art Basel Miami in 2023, and Havana Syndrome.In 2026 he founded Gene1799 Art Corporatione and issued a token, $GENE1799, across the Zora, Base and Uniswap ecosystems, describing the project as connecting AI-generated art, NFTs and Web3 community infrastructure.
