FVCKRENDER (Canadian, b. 1991) makes surreal, symbol-heavy digital compositions, from arid sci-fi landscapes to elaborate still lifes, in which recurring motifs carry fixed meanings: snakes for manipulation, flowers for emotion, chains for community. Born in Montreal, he lives and works in Vancouver.
In 2016 a bike accident left him without sensation on the left side of his body, and he began experimenting with digital renders as a way to exercise his brain, a practice that grew into his career. His process starts with photographing how light interacts with its surroundings, then altering the images digitally in ways that would not make sense in the physical world.He also built his own metaverse, Fvckrenderverse, to exhibit his work in immersive environments of his own design.,
His genesis piece on SuperRare, REJUVENATE// (2020), was followed by SHIFT// (2021), which sold at Sotheby's in New York for $107,100.,He has become one of the highest-selling on-chain artists, with one NFT selling for more than 171 ETH, and has collaborated with figures including Lil Nas X, Rosalía, LeBron James and Dior.In 2022 a one-minute collaborative drop with the musician Zedd saw 784 editions minted.
In 2021 he made his first physical sculpture, EXISTENCE//, a two-metre-high, gravity-defying chain.His NFT SELF_HELP// was later reimagined as the sculpture editions TOUCHED// and FEEL//, released through Avant Arte.His work was shown in the 2025 exhibition “Digital Decadence: The Art of Falling Apart”, the inaugural show at Offline by SuperRare's physical gallery in New York's Lower East Side.
