Tomorrow is a portrait Achon made of the artist Ernesto Cisneros, assembled from layered text and image so the face seems to emerge from noise. The piece weaves in the word “Tomorrow” along with fragments of technical manuals and numbers. Achon made only three portraits in this style: Cisneros, Xelda Jara, described as one of the initiators of the Latin American crypto-art movement, and Grey, a Cuban poet.¹
