flockaroo is the working name of the generative artist Florian Berger, whose code-based practice ranges from shader art and procedurally generated symbols to a sci-fi car racing game. The 2022 piece glyphs from another world #145, part of the series glyphs from another world, creates symbols from dynamic intersections of shapes that resemble alien graffiti or glyphs from another world.
The piece Mountain View impressed a fellow generative artist enough to prompt a study of its underlying code, drawn to its real-time performance. In March 2023, Berger released Schwere See on fxhash, returning to the platform after more than a year away to a strong market response.
