Bio
Flashcrash is an artist whose work centers on a fictional universe of genetically engineered creatures called Chimeras. They describe their practice as “The Flashcrash Lab, where science and imagination merge to create new life”, and release Chimera-themed NFT collections on Tezos, Ethereum, and Polygon.
A companion piece published under the same handle, titled Chimera's Bestiary, frames the creatures as a species shaped by evolution, mutation, and genetic inheritance, tracing back to a single primordial ancestor whose existence remains debated.
