Bio
Filip Hodas is a digital artist based in Prague, Czech Republic, whose work blurs the line between reality and fiction, combining realistic-looking environments with surreal or bizarre elements often drawn from pop culture. He is self-taught, having left university after a year and a half to work first as a graphic designer before turning to 3D art.
He started out designing gig posters for friends before expanding into freelance graphic design work such as logos, brochures, and record covers. In 2015, while working at a Prague agency, he began experimenting with 3D graphics, producing one image every day for almost 400 days to build his skills. By early 2016 he returned to freelancing, this time focused mainly on 3D work.
