EyeJack is an augmented reality app created by the artist Sutu.Using the app, viewers can point a smartphone camera at an illustration and watch it come to life as an animated AR artwork, with on-screen details including an NFT's transaction history and a link to purchase it.
EyeJack has published the Prosthetic Reality series of augmented reality art books.,Prosthetic Reality Volume 1 was followed by Prosthetic Reality Volume 2, which brought together more than 60 artists, animators, and sound designers to showcase augmented reality NFT art, including artwork by Pixelpuncha.,,
The app has also powered commissioned public and commercial projects, including a 2018 collaboration with the online marketplace Redbubble that brought twelve artists' designs to life in augmented reality.EyeJack and the publisher Callwey Verlag worked with Jägermeister to produce an augmented reality comic book telling the origin story of the drink, later collected in a hardback book.For the IAM100 campaign marking the 100th anniversary of Australia's Great Ocean Road, EyeJack designed and fabricated plaques installed at 32 locations along the road, of which 10 were activated with animated AR stories about the surrounding area.
