Eva Eller (Estonian, b. 2000) is a digital painter working in what she calls Neo-Renaissance Mysticism Art, reimagining the techniques of the Old Masters to explore spiritual transformation and sacred knowledge. Her allegorical paintings draw on alchemy, theology, Freemasonry, and Rosicrucian traditions, leaning toward a dark fantasy sensibility.
Born in Tallinn, she was sent to art school at eleven and began working as a freelance book illustrator at fifteen, a career she continued for years before turning to her own art.,She studied Graphic Art at the Estonian Academy of Arts from 2020 to 2024, spending an Erasmus year at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze in Italy.
Eller first learned about NFTs in 2021 but held off minting because of gas costs. She began minting seriously on SuperRare in the summer of 2022, when she uploaded her first personal series, Angels of Knowledge, inspired by the Bible and centered on a recurring Temple of Knowledge motif. Her guiding motto, “knowledge is your most valuable resource”, runs through the series' angel figures and their pursuit of learning.
Her 2021 short film Little Eva drew on her own life experience and interest in psychology to explore how parenting shapes people into adulthood. Her later series Lost Halos (2024-2025) comprises thirteen portrait NFTs depicting fallen angels and the damned, structured around nine ranks of angels, one human figure, and three chorts, each representing a stage of redemption.
Her work has been shown at Tallinn Art Hall's “TASE '24”, at “The Canal Street Show” at LUME Studios in New York in 2023 and 2024, and at the “NFC” x Artcrush Gallery Euro Street Exhibition across ten European cities in 2023.
