Ernesto Asch (Costa Rican, b. 1976) is an artist based in Panama working across analog and digital painting, known for glitch-based portraits built from carefully arranged pixels. Manipulating contrast and negative effects, he produces abstract glitch portraits that carry a sense of depth beyond their foreground subject.^,

Fellow artist Stina Jones has cited Asch's early on-chain work on Tezos, alongside that of WGMeets, as an influence that led her toward the ZeroContract protocol and the compressionist approach to digital art. Asch continues to release work through Zero Terminal, a Tezos-based platform for fully on-chain art, including an ongoing series titled The Committee. His ASCH collection of abstract compositions has also been catalogued on the platform The Line under its illustration category. He is represented by Artcrush Gallery, a platform that showcases represented artists' work on digital billboards in cities.
