Emil is an artist based in Los Angeles who co-founded the platform Emergent Properties, known as EmProps.ai. He and co-founder Ira, both practicing artists, began experimenting with AI in their own work, which led EmProps to pivot from a conventional generative art platform into one focused on Long-Form AI Art.
EmProps had launched in January 2022 as a generative art platform on the Secret Network blockchain before the team rebuilt it on Tezos later that year. Its Generative Pipeline runs a token's unique seed through a sequence of nodes, combining plain JavaScript or p5.js code with AI models such as Stable Diffusion, so each work is generated at the moment of mint rather than beforehand.
