Eliza SJ is an artist and programmer from Montreal, Canada, based in Barcelona, Spain. She has been making art with code since 2015, working across web-based playgrounds and large-scale interactive, audiovisual installations. She is a self-taught programmer who works across tools including TouchDesigner, GLSL and Unity.
She is fascinated by how programming and algorithmic thinking shape the creative process. Her work imagines the hidden spaces between here and there, the real and the virtual, asking what it might feel like to be in two places at once. She holds a Bachelor's in Communications and Journalism from Concordia University and a Master's in New Media, Web and the Arts from Université de Paris.
In 2023 she minted moonsong 1.0 live at NFT Show Europe through fxhash, an animated, audio-generative work that renders the reflection of the moon rippling across a digital pond. Clicking or tapping the piece subtly disturbs the ripples, and each composition is tailored to the specific date and time it was minted.That same year, aer and lux were shown in “GENERATIVE”, a curated release by Fakewhale Cross, exploring meditative forms of light bent and blended through GLSL, refraction and domain warping.
Her large-scale work includes RECEIPTS, a 2026 interactive installation for Sonár+D in Barcelona that confronts visitors with the deliberately obscure terms and conditions of everyday digital services.Infinity Room, commissioned by Brawhaus for a 2024 event in Milan, ran a real-time particle system across two LED walls and two mirrored walls for a seven-minute experience.She has also developed real-time visuals for brand and music collaborations, including Bring Me the Horizon's 2024 Latin American tour, Aitana's 2025 world tour, and Nike's 40th-anniversary Air Force 1 project with NSDOS.,,
