Ekaitza is a digital artist, collector and creative director based in Irvine, California, working across 3D modeling, animation and digital collage. In October 2020, he curated Nifty Gateway's first artist-curated drop, an early milestone for the platform that also gave the artist Bryan Brinkman his start there.
His Ekaitza Skulls, a body of 3D-modeled and rendered skull works released from 2021 and titled in Latin, were sold on SuperRare and Nifty Gateway. In July 2021, twenty-six other artists, including Bryan Brinkman and Alberto Seveso, each reinterpreted one of the skulls as a collaborative tribute piece. In August 2022, Ekaitza and the artist Zigor Samaniego launched Life of Muga, an art and design studio and Nifty Gateway collection combining their backgrounds in design, animation and branding.
