Eduxdux, the working name of Eduardo Crivellari, makes generative artworks anchored in basic geometric shapes and vibrant color palettes, often layered with varied textures for added depth. He graduated in Animation Cinema and Digital Arts from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) before turning to generative art as his primary practice.
His work Azulejo, made with p5.js, grew out of research into tiling and drew on references including the artists Athos Bulcão and Cândido Portinari. The piece generates eight color palettes across seven tile styles, occasionally producing a fully filled tile. In Puxadinho, made with p5.js and the scribble library, he draws on the Brazilian term for the informal, unplanned vertical expansion of a house in peripheral neighborhoods. He describes Blockalive as work that “transcends mere representation of the Bitcoin network”, calling it “the network unveiling itself”.
