Eduxdux, the working name of Eduardo Crivellari, makes generative artworks anchored in basic geometric shapes and vibrant color palettes, often layered with varied textures for added depth. He graduated in Animation Cinema and Digital Arts from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) before turning to generative art as his primary practice.
His work Azulejo, made with p5.js, grew out of research into tiling and drew on references including the artists Athos Bulcão and Cândido Portinari. The piece generates eight color palettes across seven tile styles, occasionally producing a fully filled tile.In Puxadinho, made with p5.js and the scribble library, he draws on the Brazilian term for the informal, unplanned vertical expansion of a house in peripheral neighborhoods.He describes Blockalive as work that “transcends mere representation of the Bitcoin network”, calling it “the network unveiling itself”.
He has released several generative pieces as Bitcoin ordinals through the platform Gamma.,Blockfeel, launched in January 2025, explores the immutable nature of human emotions through digital permanence.Initial Escape, launched in March 2025 through Gamma Prints, reacts to the fee rate of the Bitcoin network, growing more agitated as fees rise.Eduxdux has exhibited internationally, including at “Unblock Gaudi” in Frankfurt in 2022, “NFT Brasil” in São Paulo in 2023, and “OnChain Summer Solstice” in New York in 2024.
