deuspoeticus ∅ is a Turkish generative artist who writes code to make artwork, using tools such as JavaScript, p5.js, GLSL, and TouchDesigner. The practice grows out of a background in linguistics and literature, with stated interests spanning poetry, semiotics, structuralism, and typography alongside generative art and AI.
The artist holds a B.A. in Comparative Linguistics and Applied Foreign Languages (2016-2022) and an M.A. in French Language and Literature (2022-2025), both from Université Galatasaray. In 2026, deuspoeticus began an M.Sc. in Cognitive Science, on a track in Computational Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence, at Sorbonne Université and Université Paris Cité. In 2025, deuspoeticus served as guest editor-in-chief of Buzdokuz, directing a special issue on generative art and algorithmic aesthetics. The project list published on the artist's own website runs from Postmodern Sacrifices in 2022 to AXIOMATIQUE in 2026.
