desultor

desultor (b. 1986) is a Florida-based digital and physical artist working across acrylic painting, analog video capture, pixel art, physical collectibles and on-chain objects. Recurring subjects include skulls, frogs, food, trash, death and jokes, drawn from the wreckage of internet culture and, in the artist's words, the spiritual residue of the modern era.^1,2

desultor's practice grew out of the Tezos and Counterparty blockchains, through the Fake Rares, Fake Commons and Notable Pepes communities and what the artist calls the rougher rooms of crypto art.¹
