desultor's practice grew out of the Tezos and Counterparty blockchains, through the Fake Rares, Fake Commons and Notable Pepes communities and what the artist calls the rougher rooms of crypto art. The work has kept crossing over since: painting into image, image into token, token back into a physical object.¹

He joined SuperRare in August 2020, where he describes his practice as “cookin crunchy fever dreams”.³ His SuperRare collection drive-thru daydreams comprises 21 impasto-rich acrylic paintings, each token acting as the digital twin of a claimable 12×12 inch physical painting, linked to its digital record with an NFC tap-enabled wax seal.² In 2026 desultor was one of three artists — alongside Ivona Tau and Mariah — selected for AOTM's Artists in Residence VII, a three-month residency for non-roster artists at the gallery Art of This Millennium.⁴
